Gear I Actually Use

Real recommendations from real miles. No fluff, no filler — just the stuff that works.

If I haven’t used it, I won’t recommend it.

Ride Gear

The gear that keeps me safe on every ride. Finding women’s fit gear is a challenge these are the ones that actually work.

Helmet

My go-to dual sport helmet. Fits well, good ventilation, visor + goggle compatible.

Goggles

Clear optics, comfortable fit, works perfectly with the helmet.

Cardo Packtalk Edge

Helmet comms that actually work. I use the Bold (discontinued) — the Edge is the current version and even better.

Wrench Tools

The tools I actually reach for when I’m wrenching on Skadi or Verdandi. You don’t need a full shop — just the right basics.

Cruz Tools Kit

The basic toolkit that lives on the bike. Has what you need for trailside fixes.

Silky BigBoy Folding Saw

Clears trail debris like nothing else. Folds up, fits in a pack, cuts through anything.

Riding Backpack

Carries tools, water, and snacks on every ride. Comfortable enough for all-day trail days.

Roam Gear

RV life essentials and road trip must-haves. From Starlink to leveling blocks, here’s what keeps our rig rolling.

Starlink

Game-changer for working remotely from the RV. Fast internet almost anywhere — it’s made full-time road life actually possible.

Leveling Blocks

Stackable, durable, and they don’t crack in cold weather. Makes leveling the rig on uneven ground quick and painless.

Surge Protector

Protects the RV’s electronics from bad campground power. Plug it in before you plug in the rig — non-negotiable for full-timers.

Pack Gear

Traveling with two cats and a dog means pet gear is adventure gear. These keep May, Steve, and Jasper safe and happy on the road.

Pet Harness & Seatbelt

Crash-tested and comfortable for Jasper on long drives. Clips right into the seatbelt — keeps him safe without restricting movement too much.

Collapsible Water Bowl

Packs flat, pops open instantly, and doesn’t spill easily on the move. I keep one in my tank bag and one in the RV door pocket.

Cat Carrier Backpack

May and Steve actually enjoy this one. Ventilated, expandable, and airline-approved. Great for vet visits and campground exploring.

Tech & Camera

What I use to film, edit, and stay connected on the road. You don’t need expensive gear to start — but these have been worth every penny.

Action Camera

Mounted on my helmet for every ride. Stabilization is incredible, it handles rain, and the footage is sharp enough for YouTube without extra editing.

Wireless Microphone

Clear audio even in windy conditions. Clips to my jacket and connects straight to my phone or camera. Huge upgrade over built-in mics.

Portable SSD

Fast, rugged, and tiny. Stores all my footage and edits without worrying about drops or dust. Essential for editing on the road.
